And all this breaks down in one season, we already know who Seth Jones and Roman Josi are, but whether Adam Fox will also be good next season and beyond, we don’t know that. At the same time, the position of RD in Buffalo is the most crowded. I'm not even sure if I wanted to trade Eichel for Fox, Kakko and Chytil, not to mention one Fox for Eichel. He is our best player and the only adequate center in the team.

Agreed. It's a bad deal for everyone. What we do know given aging curves is that Fox's peak is already better than Seth Jones and Roman Josi, whether it gets even higher is what's up in the air. I don't think Rangers will trade Fox and Buffalo has no need for a RHD. There is a sensible deal for Eichel to the Rangers though it'll probably involve a package centered around Kakko. Whether Eichel will formally request a trade to a select number of teams forcing Buffalo to lose a lot of their leverage in negotiations is still up in the air.

Not Tampa. Fox on his ELC and improving that right side would be significant for them.

You do realize Sergachev has played the right side the last 2 years (except when one of Hedman/McDonagh are out).

Sergachev has been playing the left side all season this year and excelling at it and turning himself into a top Dman. Took major steps this year playing the left side.

He played left only when McDonagh was out (which happenedto be a large portionof the season). Otherwise he plays on the right side

This is ridiculous, you obviously have problems evaluating players and no graphs will help here.

Eichel is a young franchise center with a long-term contract, and Fox, for all his cool game, cannot possibly cost such a player alone. The guy had one good season in the league, and you already think that he is Seth Jones or Roman Josi. I saw offers from Rangers fans: Fox, Kakko and Chytil for Eichel, and the price will be something like this. smile

(If what he said is right then Dahlin < Eichel = Fox) Might as well say Fox is better than Dahlin since the Swedish D-Man is not as good as Eichel right now (in terms of value to the Sabres)

That is not correct for this year, Cooper wants him on the left and that is what they have done, I have been to every home game this year and watched plenty of away games on TV. He plays way more on the left side... my eyes do not deceive me. Yes he does play on the right especially when shifted with McD, Hedman, and Coburn some but he has played predominantly on the left with Shattenkirk as his most common partner and its not because Hedman and McDonagh were hurt, it was that way all year. https://frozenpool.dobbersports.com/players/mikhail-sergachev He has played on the left 70% of the time and on the right 30%.

Fox for Eichel straight up is close though.

I know times are tough but there are some great mental health facilities that may be able to help you.

Nope. Sergy played with Shattenkirk for most of the season. Hedman-Rutta, McD-Cernak.

He played some games on right side with Hedman, but only few. Not that much like last year with Coburn.
