I think this would be a much better question for Ken Holland who is currently the GM in Edmonton. If you get an answer out of him I know a bunch of Red Wings fans who would also like to know the answer to that question. Me included.

Part of it is that most players are left handed, but that's just crazy. The Wings have been really left handed for a while too.

Duuuude I ****ing hate it so much!!! Like ****ing Steve Yzerman was right handed! We don’t even know how to play real hockey because for the last ten years everyone on the ice is left handed! Ya we’ve had a few. But literally like 2-4 at a time, and they are not even top 6 or top 4 players. Have you ever watched our power play? It’s a joke! As a right handed player myself! Where are all the right handed players!?
