Leafs accept. We'd just play Spezza at 3C and Dube/Gauthier at 4C, works for us.

I feel like this a really good trade for us and we're fleecing you guys tbh. I would do Dube for Kerfoot 1 for 1.

Yeah you guys win this trade big time, I definetly wouldn't want it and almost all the flames fans I know wouldn't do it either, even at a 1 for 1 swap.

Thats what I thought. What would you want added on to make it a 1 for 1 swap? A 3rd? Prospects?

I love the Arizona deal ,i'm just not sure that Arizona would accept especially with Bennets cap hit being so high. The rangers deal is unnecessary, management seems to like Kylington and he has been good for us, there's no need to trade him, hes a great 7th man that can play top 6 and sometimes even top 4 if he needs too, and hes still only 23 so he can get even better, and it looks like he could be the replacement for someone like Brodie when he retires. Hinostroza will probably sign for closer to 2 million. The Carolina trade is ok, but we might still be keeping Jankowski just because hes pretty good on the PK.

We would need a decent forward prospect that can turn into a good 3rd liner, because Dube has been one of our "Players for the future" and is by far our best forward prospect, him and Mangiapane along with Tkachuck seem to be the future of our offence because Monahan is starting to get older and we don't even know if he will re sign, Gudreau definitely isn't going to, I wouldn't be surprised if hes traded as a rental in the last year of his contract. Because of this, we would probably want another player comparable to Kerfoot just because Dube is considered 1 of our futures. I honestly don't think we would even trade him though, it's just if we did, we would need another player comparable to Kerfoot but probably still under 20. doesn't have to be as good as Kerfoot rn, but will have to eventually.

Monahan isn't too old yet obviously, but soon will begin to once players like Dube are hitting their prime.

SDA was a 2018 3rd round pick by us (Russian C). He had almost 90 points in the OHL this year in fifty-something games. He is raw playmaking and has great hands, but the shots a bit of a muffin. He's also pretty small but I think it's fine given how good he is. He has middle-6 potential in most peoples eyes. We could also throw in Bracco who's 23 and has been a ppg in the AHL for a few years now but could never make the jump.

If you're trading Dube to TOR, it needs to be Kapanen coming back. Don't need anymore LHS

Why would Calgary do any of these. Not one improvement.
