I agree man (though im not sure where you came up with 28/58 etc... we have no clue lol)

MY proposal would be Reinhart for Kase, a 2nd, zboril, and Frederick (and that maybe still be an overpayment), but logially it works well for both teams

I got to think thats a little low for Reinhart. Kase, 1st, Clifton, Frederick I think would get it done. Kase hasn't been the player Reinhart is, though he could become close to it. The first because I think Buffalo only takes a deal with a 1st in it for Reinhart. Clifton who I think can be come a high end RD3 + NHL ready and Frederick solid bottom 6 prospect. And maybe a low end pick coming back BOS way? 5th rounder? I just dont think there's too much incentive for BUF to take the 2nd or Zboril. Clifton at least has had decent success at the NHL level and the 1st is 30 spots higher.

I have a saved ACGM for a Reinhart trade and there isn't enough cash going out for BOS with your counter. Adding Clifton to the trade would clear them to barely fit Krug, Grizz, Bjork, and Debrusk under the cap assuming theres no drop or raise. That was with Reinhart taking 5x5 (idk what his market price is).

Halak re-signed for a title. Way too much for Reinhart.

I still don't see how Halak with a 1 year contract gets a 1st. Especially from a team that has a better, younger, and better backup already in Francouz.

Because he is a top tier backup that has shown the ability to play starter, he is absoltely worth a 1st, but again, bruins dont want to do it

Bruins are fine with cap space so dont worry about that.

But i guess what could be done is like Kase, Frederick (who is a solid MIDDLE 6 prospect, so just correcting that), and zboril (who is worth more than Clifton, but just hasnt gotten a chance yet on this deep bruins roster), and a 2nd (conditional: if the bruins make it to the finals or something, or if Rienhart puts up 60 points?). That makes everyone happy!, but its fair for both teams too

@Silkysmooth42 just curious, little different idea, would you do Bjork + Kase for Reinhart and a 3rd?

Eichel is pushed, Sabres need to win ASAP
There’s no chance they’d trade Sam for depth & future picks
By the time those picks are helping,
Eichel will have requested a trade outta here

He might be a good backup, but goalie's trade value is generally very overrated and he's a 35 year old backup signed for 1 year. You might want a 1st, but nobody is ever going to pay that.

I dont care anyway, bruins arent trading him away.

If they REALLY WANT him, he is worth a first to them, thats how supply and demand works
