BUF will stick suck next year so it's too much. Good to see Cody Ceci returns and that Lehtonen was signed for nothing

The trades were kinda secondary, I changed them to Dermott to Buf for a 2nd+3rd and Kerfoot+Jonhson to NJ for a 2nd+Mccarthy

Too much dough on an aging and often injured Tanev.

Spending any amount of money on Cody Ceci with enough D already under contract and trading away Dermott in the process who could be had for less money.

Burying Robertson on the 4th line with a defensive centre that has no offensive ability at all.

Trading a decent 3C at good value and term and putting ALL of your centre depth at risk by hoping that Spezza can stay healthy.

Still no cap space.

I suppose I could go on but I'm gonna stop there.

all true, what would you do so we can keep our top guys, get a serviceable RHD and stay under 81.5?
I really really don't like the idea of trading any of our top guys

Leafs fans and non Leaf fans should stop this obsession of obtaining a Dman who shoots right at any cost.

I would do a 3rd for Dermott but not more than that, he isn't exactly much more than a 3rd pair guy
