yeah a lot more. maybe not to other teams but hes very important to the Avs. Not sure why you are trading him for cheap instead of Zadorov when Graves had the much bigger role and was a great partner for Makar

Z was literally an impact player in Round 1 last year. For some reason he didn't respond to Burns in Round 2, so Burns took out TWO of our impact players. I'm hoping Z smashes some fools in this year's playoffs, helps the Avs to a long run, & proves his worth for a team that wants to win the Cup.

Nah dude, we're not trading you Foligno. In reality, behinds the scenes we're probably already working on an extension with him. He wants to stay in Minnesota and the front office love him. I don't see him leaving at all. But IF we were to trade him, I'd say he definitely isn't going to a rival, especially Colorado.

Foligno fits too well in Minnesota to trade him now.

so far, Z has shown to be an impact player in the playoffs. Not sure how Graves is gonna perform, so my opinion may change. But as of right now, if you wanna win in the playoffs, you can't ignore physicality and Z is one of the most terrorizing physical players in the league.

Well, MIN is going absolutely nowhere, and crazier things have happened. The beauty of this roster is that here: MIN DOES trade me Foligno! I think he would be a terrific acquisition to bring some toughness to our depth

^This^

I will say this though, offering us a second, especially the Chicago 2nd, is appreciated... let alone something of a stroke of genius for Foligno.

So kudos to you for that.

The problem for Z are the following
1-contributes very little offensively but doesn’t have to on Avs
2-Z has been good in the playoffs not an impact player.
3-he is good for 5-10 complete brain farts during the regular season that often lead to him being benched.
4-players that fit those 3 categories ESPECIALLY #1 don’t get 4x4.5 they get 1x3.75

Z crushing Tkachuk in Round 1 was a huge play. MT was a non-factor after that. The reverse happened courtesy of Brent Burns in Round 2. IMO Burns' hits tipped the balance so SJ could slip past a superior Avs team. CGY learned their lesson. COL didn't really address that aspect; it could be an issue again this time, we'll see...

Haha fair enough, this is your Armchair GM, so your rules. But in this alternate world, riots ensue as Wild fans go crazy.

Exactly. I'd be shocked if he's not the captain once Koivu is gone. He epitomizes what we want to do on the ice. He's outspoken and leads by examples. I love having him in a Wild sweater.

Wild do need to go in a different direction, this much is obvious but its very clear that Foligno needs to be a key part of whatever direction that Guerin ends up going. Minny is my 2nd favorite team and while i don’t follow them even half as close as my Sharks i do know the importance of Foligno and if you were to move him the return would have to be really special, not just a mid 2nd round pick. He would be the clear choice for captain if Parise wasn't around. I can see Zach getting the C until his time is up then pass it on to Marcus.

You get it. His value is beyond the stat sheet. I can see Parise getting the C but I think it's better to give it to Marcus. He commands so much respect from teammates and fans alike. I like Parise, I think he's exemplifies the work ethic needed to win, but I just think Foligno would make a better leader. Just my opinion, but I can see Zach or Sutes as well.

Meh, Calgary was charmin soft when you’re giving up on avg 50 shots a game. I think Burns offense and SJS depth were the difference. I thought Zadorov was good against Calgary and solid against SJS, not great or spectacular. He is at best with the Avs a 5th defenseman giving that kind of term and aav is what bad teams do not good ones.
