Although this is a good offer the Sens need NHL vets to fill roles to mentor the kids more than lots of bodies. Stacked on picks will garner more top talent.

Wow, this must be coming from your "Sens" fan view. An absolute horrid trade for the Leafs. Three NHLers and second round pick for someone who isn't sure to be NHLer.
I thought many of the RHD trade coming to the Leafs were bad, but an iffy NHL centre for four good assets.....awful.

You forgot about the ~7M in cap space.

I was actually doing this from the Leafs perspective. I think the Sens reject.

I agree. If I had to choose between the two packages, I choose the one with the potential 1C/2C. Not a slight on the other players in the deal.

Don't be silly. Leaf can trade any players, save cap and get some value in return. The trade proposed had three NHLers, a pick for an AHLer...might be worse trade I have seen in my five years on this site.
