I will credit you with making the best attempt at getting Eichel that I’ve seen so far. This is still a no from the Sabres. Eichel is a superstar 23yo center with 6 years left on his contract. Hall is 28 and primarily a winger. No interest.

I don’t see how buffalo sends ristolainen and eichel in a package for anything less than mcdavid and draisaitel and think that they came out on top. Not to mention hall is worthless as he is a UFA. maybe if you modified the deal to not include ristolainen and hall and instead made it a big package for eichel, you might be on to something.
