Easy pass from Ottawa. Johnsson is a 3LW, and Ottawa has like 5 options to fill that role, including Abramov.

I'd wager Ottawa has interest, just simply based on previous "leaf scraps" they have aquired in the past who turned out actually was a top 6 F (Connor Brown)

I don't see the fit. That's the spot I'm most confident will be left to a young player. Abramov, Balcers, Chlapik, Formenton. Stutzle if they get him.

I love how everyone not named Matthews, Marner, Nylander or Tavares are all 3rd liners at best to people outside of TO. Doesn't matter than Johnsson has played top 6 almost exclusively for almost a full season before getting hurt this year. He did well, but if course he's crap cause he had a leaf on his crest. If you had 5 guys of his calibre on the wings you'd be an incredibly deep team, that's not how people describe Ottawa these days b

He's not going to get to play with Matthews or Tavares in Ottawa. Also Ottawa has two better LW in Duclair and Tkachuk. Hence 3LW.
