The Kings easily decline that trade. They have no need for RHD and they're very high on both of those prospects. It also doesn't help that both of them are expansion draft exempt, while neither of the Buffalo players included in the trade are.

If you could find a way to get Fagemo in a Sabres jersey, I'll buy you one (he also has to wear 69)

I'll argue they do have a need at RHD behind Doughty. Unless you're comfortable with Matt Roy, Kurtis MacDermid, and Sean Walker. One 4th round RD prospect coming up.

I'd imagine they're high on 90% of their system - it's stacked. Behind Kopitar at center it's Vilardi, Turcotte, Kupari, Madden, Thomas, and then Byfield we'd assume - not to mention Fagemo and Kaliyev. Someone's gotta go. Two prospects for a top 4 D and depth forward who can play in the league is something they consider.

It’s an interesting one! I sadly think middlestat is a bust, he is talented and skilled but it’s not translating, maybe he turns it around... but I’m thinking he ends up a middle/ bottom
6 guy. I would take a flyer for that offer and hope change of scenery does him good.

They're not going to trade expansion draft exempt prospects for expansion draft eligible players. If you want Grundstrom and Lizotte then maybe they'll listen, but you're not going to get Fagemo and Madden out of LA for that package.

The Kings are perfectly happy with Roy and Walker on the right side behind Doughty. MacDermid plays on the left, not the right. This site has been incorrect on his position for ages.

Not sure what the point of the Mittlestadt trade is, he's still young. Unless they can dish him for another struggling prospect they might as well hang on to him.
