Retaining 4.5m on price and sign Lehner to 6m. It's similar to Lehner at 10.5m, but you receive Graves and Donskoi, two player you can find on the FA market or you just need to wait for Romanov and Ylonen.

I dont see a reason why Colorado would pay assets for a goalie, when they have 2 good ones who are cheaper. Lehner also would want more than 6 mill

Colorado already has Grubs, Don't see the AVS making that deal. And Detroit says no as well we've no use for Mete.

Even that much retained I don’t know that the Avs would be interested. 6 more years, yikes.

I agree that Avs have no need for Price. I was just playing around though in response to the Montreal AGM's that constantly push overpayments for Price.

2 3rds for Mete is a steal, its worth a shot. If he beats out any other prospect in Detroit, theirs a chance that prospect could be flipped for at least a 3rd in return, If not that prospect was never making the NHL anyway. Detroit would be dumb not to do this

It's not that we want over payments for price, I would take most of the deals offered BUT MB won't take them!

Agreed. If I'm Detroit, I take this, and sign him to a 2 way contract. Our LD is weak and we should take any opportunity we can get to bolster it.
