My initial thought is why are you going after PLD if you just stole Aho from the Canes with that offer! Plus you didn't even fix the D or the backup goalie after moving all those high value assets.

    Seriously just line up

    Drouin-Aho-N Suzuki
    Tatar-Kotkaniemi-R Suzuki
    Lehkonen-Danault-Armia
    Byron-Evans-Weal Weal

Wait. We don't even get Nick Suzuki? You bait-and-switched us with Ryan?

You're not improving the track record of PLD-to-Montreal proposals here.

I'll ask you this hypothetical question. Would CBJ prefer 4 1st rnd picks from an offersheet to PLD or Kotkaniemi, Ryan Suzuki and Poehling?

Man that's a small team and you have to get rid of 1 od Danault or Armia when Caufield is ready. Which makes the team even smaller. In my case at least I added Anderson and probably move Armia cause I can't trade Danault and shift Suzuki to 3rd line C. As far as the D goes I'd have to rely on internal competition from the prospects to earn a spot. Same thing with back up goalie, wing it till Primeau is ready to back up Price.

Drouin, Aho, Kotkaniemi, Lehkonen, Danault, Armia and Evans are all 6 feet or over. Byron, Weal, Tatar or Evans can also be moved IF you wanted to get bigger, plus you could resign Weise and call up Poehling, Yelonen and Vejdemo. Getting bigger is the easy part of roster building, getting better skilled players who make an impact are much harder to find.

Both Carolina and Columbus decline, Love how delusional Hab fans think that all french speaking players want to play there.

Unless you're offersheeting him at north of $10m/yr or more, the answer is going to involve another "Yes/Oui" poll. The contract you have for him here, for example ($8.5m/7yrs) would be immediately matched.

EDIT: That said, if you want to offersheet Anderson at the rate you have him at, by all means feel free.
