I can't know if people will wave clauses so I just can't factor it in. Myers would be the tough one... Also I just mushed two separate deals into one to save time.

Yes we're stuck with Loui.

Money for Marky, Tanev, Toffoli, Virtanen, Gaudette, Motte, Stetcher McKewen and Fantenberg. We'll still have to put Ferland on LTIR to start the season and keep Sven in Utica. Even if my estimations are off by 4 total million we still make cap and fill the roster. Leivo doesn't stay unless someone leaves.

This trade could definitely go through. Is Sutter worth a 3rd round pick though? I know why Detroit accepts, to get a vet to mentor their prospects, but still, for a rebuilding team, a 3rd rounder is not worth a bloated-contract fourth-liner.

He's not even a 4th liner on Van, he would be a top 6 in Det and yes he's worth a 3rd. He's an actual hockey player. Just because he's not scoring, he's a face off all star with medium scoring. Yes he's not worth 4 mil but det doesn't really care. I would 100% believe this could be done.

Would you take a 3rd with Sutter if it cost the wings a 7th?

Maybe $4.3M for 1 season isn't awful but the Wing's don't usually consult with me prior to these moves. I'm sure there are a lot of Wing's fans that are glad that I'm not consulted before these trades are made. The real question is will this be the year Yzerman takes on his first cap dump?

He'd be a fool not too. There will be many teams needing to dump salary
