Oof... that’s a big fat no from Columbus. Bjorkstrand was our best forward last year. He is not going to be traded for a player we can’t even afford. Let alone trading half of our top 4, and draft picks. That’s an absurd price for Marner and Kapanen....

The Leafs fleece the Jackets, but knowing how dumb GMs are they would take the trade. Toronto gets way better, and I support it for the team.

leafs dont even save money here. all the columbus assets are gonna be making 12+mil in a couple years anyways

IMO this makes the leafs a top 2 team in the league. Great mix of defenseman that can all play top 4 minutes. depth on forward with speed and scoring ability mixed in with physicality up and down the lineup.
But I don’t think columbus does this. Their best forward there entire second pair, Josh anderson and a first and third is too much for Marner. Who is my favorite non jacket.
