Description

The Jets need a defenseman. They get Shayne Gostisbehere from the Flyers for practically nothing since his stock dropped so much after last season. He now has a change of scenery where he can play more minutes and not feel like he’s under as much pressure. They also get a new backup goaltender in Corey Crawford who I believe will not be back with the Blackhawks.

So Philly is going to give up Ghost for a useless goalie prospect who will for sure not see ice time in Philly and a second-round pick?

They get no value out of this. Why would a contending team be willing to do this. It does not make sense
