The Canucks already have the best Quarterback in the league in Quinn Hughes. Why would they need DeAngelo? Tony won’t be playing PP1 in Vancouver. And he is terrible defensively. DeAngelo offers no value to the Canucks. However, Adam Fox for Boeser is a different story. Fox is good at 5v5, doesn’t need to play top powerplay minutes to produce and is good defensively. But I can’t see DeAngelo for Boeser happening. Also those were nothing but trade rumours. Boeser isn’t on the trade block nor are the Canucks interested in moving him

Um, Carlson + Hamilton >>>> PPQBs, although the rest I agree with

I highly disagree with you. Quinn Hughes is a generational talent. At age 20, he is already the best skater in the league. Quinn Hughes, like Brian Leetch, was born to skate. He is extremely dangerous with his passing on zone entries, he literally has the puck on a string. And dominates zone exits. Quinn Hughes isolated metrics on the Powerplay are already one of the best in the league. You add that with his skating and transition offense. Quinn Hughes is the most dominant Quarterback in the league, with the exception of Roman Josi. And John Carlson is extremely overrated. And Dougie Hamilton isn’t even better than his own teammate Jaccob Slavin.

Hughes is not the best skater in the league AT ALL. He's very good, don't get me wrong, but there's so many better skaters. You're using analytics to justify your opinion, which is cool, but it doesn't work with a small sample size like hughes. Even so, Carlson has a better xGF_PP and CF_PP than Hughes. Although Carlson is overrated, it's because he's a powerplay god, not because of anything else. And Hamilton is better than Slavin. Hamilton was the best D man in hockey before his injury.

Quinn Hughes literally leads the league in transitions, according to Charting Hockey’s model. Yes, he definitely is the best skater in the league. Have you even watched him skate? You can argue Roman Josi is more dominant, especially with his dominant Zone Entry numbers. But apart from Josi, there is literally nobody else who you can argue is better. Makar is at best on the same level as Hughes, but definitely not better. Rielly has had injury troubles and isn’t as dominant as he used to be. Klingberg’s numbers are elite, you can argue he is just as good if not better than Hughes but he doesn’t register in any of Sportlogiq stats, which have a larger sample size. And Carlson’s numbers are great but not elite. You can make a case for Chabot, but his Zone Exit numbers still need a lot of work. Fox and Werenski have a lot of potential but they still have some way to go.
