sorry but this trade is horrible for the leafs. nylander is one of our best players on a great contract. nolan patrick might never crack 40 points in the NHL. theres literally no reason to do this

No, that’s just not it. Oilers aren’t going to trade their promising young center prospect for Kerfoot. That’s not how it works, especially that Kerfoot is a 3c.

To me, resigning Hutchinson is the biggest issue I have with this team.

Big no from oilers. Mcloed is one of the oilers top prospects and let’s not forget how close he came to making the team this year. I’d rather try him out for 3c before dealing him for a more expensive one that is unclear if an upgrade at all.
