The value isn't bad at all, but Lehkonen fits the age and style of our young core better. I'd rather stick with him

Won't work, you need at least 22 players to be a functioning roster

League minimum is a 22 man roster, And you're over the cap. Can't see either Killorn or Palat leaving Tampa for Montreal.

What are you talking about, this work just fine they have a full roster and would probably send player down to save money on break day and hopefully there someone who will spend time on Ltir at some point and gave them relief but in no case they need 22 players to start the season. They can play with 9 forward and 4 defenseman if they want to there no rule that said team must have 22 players

There no such thing as minimum players limit! They could start the season with only 9 forward if they wanted two. Actually New jersey did so a couple year ago playeing with just 11 forward in the first few game.

This could very easily be work out just by sending Cal Foote down a couple of day at the begging ofbthe season and is 9,25 salary would fit just under the cap with the Ahl ajustement. There nothing here that can be fix with a couple of manipulation that GM make all the time

Ok so whats the plan for the California road trip? Lets say someone gets hurt or sick. You just going to play down 2 players the next day?

With players beiing send down on break day that relief salary from the cap and can be use for that purpose when they need too use their full line up. Salary cap is calculate on a daily bases if Kucherov miss 4 week due to a injury is 4 week portion of salary doesnt count into is 9,5 millions cap hit. There multiple manipulation that Gm use to work their cap situation.

So you'd play with 17 skaters and pray you have zero injuries the whole season? Come on

12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies dress every game. You said send a defensemen to the ahl to save money.

Counting is hard.

so, in your mind. sending down a guy on his ELC for a day or two at a time will save 41K AND you will have zero injuries throughout the whole year?

ridiculous.

Yeap we both know who ridiculous. I hmjist made a text earlier about the whole situation but you didn’t take a minute to read it since your are a stubborn mtfk. And yes sending down a elc contract for time to time will save them probably more then 41k. A Ahl salary is in average around 70 thousand so if a players on elec earns 50 thousand a week in nhl and spend a week in ahl they probably just been maning up for that 41k

and since not all 20 players will play all 82 games? what happens then? tampa used 31 players in 70 games this year. and thats just guys who played, not counting guys called up and sat in the press box

next season is going to be very compressed, with fewer days off, starting in december, with playing all 82 games, fewer 'off" days to send guys down.

just give it up.

Stamkos and Mcdonagh have miss significant time that gave them millions to work with. They had some injury to fill in, coburn, kucherov, hedman and compagnie that why they use 31 players. Younare so desperately in need of attention that you continue to ignore that everything would be the ok with the line up that i have buit

the savings only kick in if they are on LTIR, which has specific time period requirements for missed time.

another swing and a miss.

not every player that misses time goes on LTIR. guys miss one or two or four games all the time.

just make another trade to be cap compliant.

imagine going on a west coast trip with 20 players and someone gets hurt. you'd be screwed.
