That's a lot of capspace allocated to the bottom pairing on D. Why not give Fleury/Bean/McKeown a shot? You can probably get Raanta without taking on Demers' contract.

I don’t think they’d have much trouble getting cap space for him. Hardest part is gonna be talking him into staying. Goose and Demers both have value. I feel like sending Stepan to Buffalo for cheap makes a ton of sense. And I feel like Carolina needs more of a sure thing than Raanta. Can most likely sign Lehner for what you’re paying Raanta and Demers
