unless you're trading scheifele, the deal doesn't even get started. contending teams dont trade their 1C for anything but a 1C

I'd have to decline as a Jets fan we've given up a lot of our futures in recent years and Couturier only has two years left on his deal. If it was next off season in 2021 and he signed a long term extension I'd do the deal then with ehlers going their way

You are wrong they would prob do that trade it gives a shot at the 1st overall and a really good prospect!

Yeah and 1C swaps like never happen that I can recall, even the Ehlers and a 1st suggestion makes zero sense for Philly unless they're making a blockbuster trade for Eichel the next day or something.
