JJ doesn’t deserve to be in the lineup. If Drouin scored on the penalty shot, it would be completely his fault that the Pens lost, since he would’ve caused 2 goals. How is he still in the NHL?

He was already at fault for 2 goals anyway.

The 1st he knocked ZAR down taking himself and zar out the play and like a second later MTL scored.
The second was the OT goal he was totally out of position for.
Hell he was MTL best player.

First move they have to make though is to remove Marleau of the team. He's a waste of space.
Replace him with Erod.
Then bench Sheary as he's worthless out there. All they do is knocking him down all game long. He made one play all game.
They should put McCann on the top line with Sid. Put Lafferty on the 3rd line with Erod and Hornqvist.

Then replace JJ with Riikola.

Problems solved.

FFS even with JJ as their Dman the 4th line all had above 60% corsi. They were dominate on the ice. But they got JJ and can't play defense Schultz behind them. FFS that is never going to work.

What trade was better

Edmonton Oilers
Conditional 6th

Pittsburgh Penguins
John Marino

Or
Los Angeles Kings
5th round pick

Chicago Blackhawks
Kubalik.

Marino by far.

It's hard to find good defense. Wingers are a dime a dozen.
