Description

I wonder what is going on in the heads of people who are blaming Freddie for the loss. Do these guys know anything about hockey. Freddie played a very good game and the shot that went in was not great, but had actually good height.

Besides that, he saved some goals for sure.

It is very hard to win games when you don't score and when you have top players on your team that have 0 shots in over 20 minutes of ice time

Can't win if you dont score, Leafs score 3+ per game they win the series, Freddy will keep them in games

Leafs did just about everything right last night, no glaring Defensive issues or mistakes, Freddie played outstanding, Jackets did exactly what they were advertised to do, smother the puck and clog the nuetral zone. Jackets had a fair bit of puck luck when it came rebounds, loose pucks and bounces landing on their sticks - all in all good game - series will go the distance

I agree about the goal scoring they didn’t put the puck in the net when they had there chances. I did like the defensive structure last night. Andersen played extremely well had bad luck on the Columbus goal. it’s only game one but they need to figure this team out by next game or they will be going home.

Exactly. He stopped 97% of shots, koorpisalo stopped 100%. You can’t blame a goalie in a game where he let in one goal, and the forwards couldn’t score.

And he saved a sure goal on Bjorkstand with his toes. He was probably Maple Leafs player yesterday, but some people will still blame him for that one goal
