Toronto has officially become the Capitals 2.0. (They couldnt get past the penguins till the cup win we cant get past r1). Time for some Dubas Magic cause while his trades had potential its time to grab a proper DEFENSIVE RHD

I mean Spezza is righthanded and can win faceoffs but feel like 2M is bit expensive though

i think it was done on purpose. If either of those teams get him its gonna be big news next to whoever gets the cup. Plus how much will they make of his jersey selling especially in those fanbases. Alot so much they could make enough to stabalize the cap problem quicker. Bettman somehow planned this and whoever gets him god help the league

Maybe one day we can draft on what the team needs and not what is a guess on the best player availble.

I feel like Holland did that with the last draft got a D cause he felt we were going to be weak there long term and then got some wingers. #3C shouldn't be the hardest thing to find but would have helped if the previous GM didn't trade ours

Leafs might not have made the playoffs to begin with. They were clutching on.

I don't put all to much into the COVID cup. These guys haven't played hockey in like 4 months.

That doesn't really matter because it doesn't favor skill teams. It takes time to get that down. But teams that are going to play a more physical style of hockey will have an advantage.
