Very bad. Avs would laugh at that proposal. A prospect, 2nd round pick, and a cap dump bad Dman isn't going to get you Landeskog.

Would you trade Pacioretty for that package?

As much as Habs fans want to get rid of DD, they just arn't. I also think that the Leafs will keep bozak this year for the PK and leadership.

well it was pretty blah. You get a fair rating now since you aren't trying to rob my team haha

I can only imagine how bad it was.

Regarding the remaining trade, is Bozak really worth it? At least Desharnais will be gone after this year and we can keep the 2nd rounder right? If anything something that makes more sense is trading DD for a player with less cap hit but is far worse than DD. At least that way it balances out.

I almost missed that FA signing, Tanguay for $1MM, unlikely.

Truth is, DD is not as bad as Bickell so we shouldn't have to give up what Chicago gave to lose him. Our goal would be to trade him for as little return in cap hit as possible. So if we need to retain salary and add a later round draft pick, so be it.

The Leafs need Bozak at centre. This year Kadri, Bozak and Matthews. If Kadri was to get hurt or suspended or hurt, the Leafs don't want Matthews as their top centre. (I still think Nylander will be a centre at some point). And Bozak at 4.25 for two years isn't really a bad contract. Leafs don't need cap space this year or next.
