he's younger, cost less, has much longer term, and he's a better player.
Klefbom has barely been a 50% corsi player his whole career. Pettersson's corsi numbers keep raising and they are already better than Kelfoms.
Klefbom bleeds goals on the ice, He's had 1 year where there were more goals for than against in 5v5 play. Pettersson has never had one year where that is true. And he played for a bad ANA team.

Klefbom's 1 point more per season in 5v5 play, isn't worth the decrease in defensive production. Nor the cost of Murray, given the draft picks are about equal.
