Leafs shed salary and get a bottom pairing D cheap. Knowing they need to shed salary. It many teams are gonna give up a second. I think this is a fair deal.

I like all the trades except Montreal one but don't think Edmonton would accept.

Also the Pietrangelo signing is horrible

Tough to say. Anyhring can happen in today’s NHL. But they need a top pairing D and Petro is that and there is no gurantee that any of Drysdsle or Sanderson will be one or if they even get them.

Of course it is. Virtually all UFA signings are. But you need to pay to get a top pairing guy and that is what hell be going for

I understand I just don’t think Edmonton is going to get a lot for him. Getting a young centre in return and something to balance it out.

$22.5Mil on RHD?

I know I have put a question mark, but please, no need to try to give out a justification. There's none.

Oilers shouldn’t want anything to do with that

I wouldn’t stay committed to keeping Goose, Zacha, and Bratt together. I know it worked for a stretch last season, but a stronger Hughes needs to be 2C next year or we will have problems. Hughes on the wing is not a long-term solution.

Sabres pass we would rather have McCabe then a 4th line winger
