Description

-Panthers get younger with DeBrusk. Change of scenery. Connolly goes back to BOS after he struggled near the end of the season w/ the Cats.
-Matheson is a cap dump on the Devils to get to the cap floor.

Notes on Lines
-Feel like Koivu could have a reinassance playing with high scorers like Hoffman/DeBrusk and get plenty of assists
-Huberdeau/Barkov help Tippett's development, similar to how Jagr helped them
-Matheson and Stralman (parking cones) are gone and are replaced with Borowiecki and Keeper
-Borgstrom being gone is pretty much finite at this point.

There are some rumblings that he might be hard to resign but that's about it and nothing super concrete.

With the term and $ left on that Matheson deal (and an expansion draft coming up), it will likely cost Florida more to move him. He is not a straight dump as he is useful player, but in return for 7th rounder, I think they'll have to either retain $ or send something else with him. But not 1st or 2nd. Maybe 3rd or 4th.
