Both Ceci and Hutton are UFAs. You can’t trade them.
Butcher isn’t a proven top pairing Dman, IMO he wouldn’t be the Leafs best option

This was the guy telling people to "get real" with the Laferniere trade? Trading UFA's is a good way to establish your understanding.

The leafs arent looking for a top pairing dman they have Reilly and Muzzin they need a 2nd pairing guys like Butcher and Hutton leafs fans dont understand what a salary cap is and how close they r too it you cant afford another top pairing guy. and the trade date was set at 22% into the season so they r not UFAs at the time of the trade and both could easily be resigned or replaced in the trade
