Both trades are terrible for TO. Larsson sucks and Andersen is way better than Stalock.

The Wild GM went out and said he'd pay for a goalie upgrade. Dubnyk was a massive disappointment for them and will be a backup with limited starts.

If they want a significant goalie upgrade they'll be paying that kind of money either way.

Do people realize Stalock was briefly a Leaf before and they almost ruined his career and he basically told them to go **** themselves? Never mind the fact he's a backup.

simple trade to make cap space and some kings fans accept this

Kapenan for Roy done

Johnsson does not need to be moved and Seattle grabs him giving us more Cap space. We sign a cheaper goalie and let freddie walk in UFA

Doesn't matter. The NHL is a business. As a player it's your duty to play your best no matter who you play for.

I believe that if they are winning then everything gets put behind them.

Kapanen is a key piece for our team. Roy is just a high end 3rd pairing guy on a very nice contract for 1 year. It's basically trading Kapanen for Justin Holl just to save some cap space for 1 year.

I rather trade pieces that we don't have plans for long term.

If I'm Seattle I take Engvall over Johnsson. Then Toronto ends up with way too many middle 6 LW.

Might be a business but teams generally don't bring in players that don't want to be there. Never mind it's a terrible trade idea for the Leafs.
