Start with Laf haha .............Wing would have to add all there prospect and Larkin for Ranger to even think about it come on be real 60 point player for Laffy what a good joke imo

That's the point hoser, we aren't trading Larkin, so it would take something like laf+ for us to consider it because he's our franchise. Figure it out, overpay to get a guy away from a team that will never trade him

A deal for Larkin probably looks like

K’Andre Miller
Carolina 1st
Georgiev
Chytil

At that point you could probably dump one of smith or staal to detroit

Costs more then that, wings aren't trading him for anyone not named lafreniere at this point

Larkin is more of a high end 2C IMO. Maybe a solid 1C. Laf is not worth that. I get he’s a hometown boy, but my package gives the wings a lot. Draft Rossi at 4 and now u got a guy with incredible offensive upside. A future D consisting of Miller, Seider and Hronek is great. A future top 2 centers of Rossi and Chytil is great if they reach their ceilings and they get a future starter in Georgiev plus another 1st in a rly deep draft. A trade like that could set them up nicey

A late first, 2 meh prospects and a young guy who projects as a 3C low end 2C isnt enough for an elite player like Larkin.

It's a troll post.

Only "known" asset is chityl... Larkin like mantha would require massive overpay since he's our next captain.....our #1 centre...from Michigan....& elite young leader for his age...rangers won't give up the price to land him

Not necessarily. What would you personally want for Larkin?

Like the other dude said, we wouldn’t make the trade because of what Larkin means to Det but to humor you id say Mika Z and lindgren for Larkin would be about equal value.

I would probably do it if Zibanejad can't come to terms on a reasonable extension tbh. If Larkin requested a trade would the price be the same?

Ok then what is it? I figured you were looking for an argument because you have a good grasp on player value. You have to know Detroit isn't going to trade Larkin and for arguments sake if they were going to trade him it would be for a lot more.

I felt it was a good starting package. I know he's not going anywhere but that's not completely wasteful of a package.

He had 35 points without him last year

That does say much for him. That is lower than .4 points a game. Not a really good argument

You are forgetting the intangibles. He is a high end #2 center, I agree, but he is a hometown guy and for a team in a rebuild he sell tickets. The Wings have good talent, it will take time and as I have posted before when teams trade good NhL talent for futures it only prolongs the rebuild. If a team trades guys like Larkin, Bertuzzi, Mantha or Hronek while rebuilding they are only prolonging any rebuild, because in 3 or 4 years when guys like Rasmussen. Veleno and Seifer come up guys will.say he trade them for futures because you are rebuilding. Larkin's ceiling is probably 30 to 35 goals and 40 to 50 assists, but noting in that trade is has the same value, as other than Chyirl maybe comes close.

Sharks feel that’s fair for Strome! So many are down on him and I get that he won’t be the guy to lift a line and players up, but pair him with say couture and Kane And i feel he will hold his own and look good.

You guys should find a place for Sorenson in your active roster he would be your best PK guy! If not switch him with Gambrell and we will keep
Him and you’d save 750k. Ext season.
