the NYR trade seems unnecessary. Afanasyev is younger, expansion draft exempt, Let Sissons center and bring Blackwell or Trenin Center.

Really don't like the TOR trade for NSH. Don't see Volkov getting signed. He's still the longest of long shots, and the Preds retain his rights indefinitely so there's no rush.
