Jets say yuppers to that deal, but there will be no retention in any Leddy deal. the islanders need to clear cap space not pay someone money to play against them

Vesalainen has been pretty underwhelming so far, doubt Bergevin gives a 50pts C/W for him and a 3rd

That would be a fair price for Domi, I think the Jets would do it, unless Domi's contact demands are unrealistic.

Why would you give that much up for Killorn just to put him on the fourth line?

Correct. Isles won't retain. You can lower it to two 3rds or a 3rd and a 4th, but no retention.

Yeah, you're probably right about the retention...but one can hope smile

I think I'll do that then.

I agree he hasn't done much, but I think the Habs are going to go all in with Suzuki and Kotkaniemi as 1-2 and make Danault 3. With that...either you make Domi a winger full time (which might happen) or your dump him, take on something else with less money and get something else. You might be right though...they might prefer a draft pick than Vesalainen who hasn't done too much yet...maybe it's just on hope.

On Killorn that's mistake. Meant to put him on the third. Fixing the lineup here. Thanks for the pointers.

Definitely makes mores sense. Even then though, I think Killorn is a legit 2nd line wing. He's so good, but MTL is pretty deep on LW.
