The trade is Suomela to WSH, not Sorensen but I'm assuming that's who you mean. I see what you mean regarding Sumo and Boyd. I think they're somewhat similar, but Boyd is definitely better. Neither of them have really been given enough ice time to prove themselves.

I think that Roy and Johansen are at least equal though. It seems to me that they've both suffered substantial injuries which have stunted their growth. But from point totals (and having watched Roy), it looks like he's the better of the two. They're 2 players that would benefit from a change of scenery.

What if I changed that 7th to a 5th? Would that help things?

I think a swap Roy vs Johansen is more fair than a swap Boyd vs Suomela
WSH knows what they got in Boyd and he’s cheap

Yeah understandable. The thing with Boyd though, is that Washington doesn't actually play him a ton Iirc he only played like 20ish games this year which is definitely disappointing because I think he's better than that. Maybe I'm just biased because I like Suomela, but since he's on his way out because the stupid SJ coaching staff doesn't like him, I figured maybe WSH would give him more of a look and SJ might give Boyd a better look. If all I need to do is add more Value going to WSH, that can be arranged.

In my opinion, Jarnkrok is a 40 point player on a fantastic contract. That's why I paid what I did. I think it's a bit of an overpay for sure, but Sorensen, I think isn't as good as Jarnkrok at all.

Yes. By quite a bit. Jarnkrok is consistently a positive player analytically and produces 30+ points and 15+ goals consistently and can play PP and PK. He's such a good complimentary player that can play up and down a line-up and has an amazing contract. He's a really, really solid player.
