I'll take a hard pass on Nash.

And from the Rangers perspective what exactly are they getting out of that deal? A backup goalie they don't need, a defenseman with an expiring contract, and a 1st? Not appealing to them.

Hunwick for Fehr is at least interesting. Although I don't see him improving the Penguins. Maybe he's a cheaper Ian Cole.

A first round pick and cap space. That is pretty damn good. Jarry isn't a backup goalie. He's a prospect. There's a difference. He has potential to one day be a starter. Daley is what he is. A cheap top 4 dman.

Nash is an aging, injury prone, 7.8M dollar, no longer elite goal scorer. NYR fans, I know some people are way too sarcastic with their trade proposal's and try to get Nash for pennies and they are wrong because he does still have value but the trade offered is actually fair value for Nash. whether you like it or not. People forget that cap space is an asset too. That cap space saved means you could maybe go out and sign Shattenkirk in free agency.
