As much as I like Kuznetsov, Habs decline. The main reason why theyd ever think of trading Danault is because its too crowded down the middle, or else theyd keep him. If Danault gets traded its either for a young winger, a 1st and other assets or a LHD.

Whats Carlson worth ? a late 1st and a late 3rd ? Deangelo is 24 years old coming off 53 points in 68 games and only a 1st while 3rd liner Kapanen just got a 1st lol You going to have to offer alot more then just a 1st for Deangelo.

I’m not sure how much more we’d actually get for him, unless we found a gm who had a lapse in judgement like Rutherford. Some will say less, some will say more.

Hmm John Carlson, a Norris Trophy Finalist, is worth a late 1st and a late 3rd? Yea no.

Was originally a wing in Russia when he lead the WJC in goals. Might be a better player as a wing with less defensive responsibility. He's a great skater, dynamic playmaker, on the soft side.

Orlov is a top 4 LD. Skates well, tough, on the second power play. Kuzy is a dynamic, skater and playmaker. 70 point player. Together Orlov and Kuzy would add more O than what Caps get in return.
