You do know CF has a feature to use 2021-22.

That is a DRASTIC over payment for Domi. He sucks. He's worth a quarter of that package at best. Chytl is already better and has a far higher ceiling.

Why would they extend Kreider, and then trade him?

Chytil is going to do 70+ points ? Even one season ? I doubt

No way on the Domi trade. They’ll say not enough, but to me that’s a ridiculous overpay for a guy who isn’t really a full time center. You could prolly give Strome a little more and convince him to stay instead at the cost of only dollars and cap space not young players and draft picks.

His value has been steadily dropping, and his rechid playoffs adds to that. When I say he sucks, that doesn't mean he is valueless... it means buyer beware. It would actually suck to make a trade as one sided as this. Domi shouldn't cost a team any more than a late first or a pair of 2nds

because they didn't expect to land the first overall pick who's a left winger and won't want to pay 6.5 mil for a 3rd liner who's that inconsistent

Except you just saw a lesser player that plays a less valuable position get a prospect and 15th overall. Say what you want but if you think Bergevin accepts less then what Kapanen fetched in a trade you're delusional

Just bc one gm is desperate doesn’t mean that the whole market is now screwed up as well if ur talking like that then strome gets more than a 1st and deangelo gets close to EK RETURN it’s not gonna happen.

He’s 21 he’ll be the rangers 2C in a couple of years and he’ll likely hit close to 70 points when he gets there.

Just one gm? Anthanasiuo got two 2nds at the trade deadline, the same as you say Domi is worth but once again far worst player, playing a less valuable position. Pageau got more then that at the deadline, once again a worst player.

And the Strome ckmparision...really? Guy never had over 40 points this year and probably never will without Panarin beside him but ya let's compare him to a guy who is younger and out produced him every single year of his career except for the one where Strome played with one of the best players in the league.

Basic logic and past trade values say you're wrong but I'm sure some comment saying I'm wrong is still going to pour out of your finger tips

U can’t compare deadline deals to offseason deals.. deadline deals are always more or overpays bc teams have to pay for there needs. I’m not saying strome is better than domi I’m just saying from your logic every player will get way more than they are worth

Traditionally you actually get more in off season deals and last time Bergevin had a top 6 forward to trade in the off season he got Tatar Suzki and a 2nd for him. So ya, by my logic he will get more then a couple of 2nds for Domi.

Just to reiterate I never said he’s worth 2 2nds I don’t even think he’s a fit on the rangers I just don’t think he’s worth two 1st
