I like the idea of Methot for Edler deal but I feel like the Sens would have to throw in a young B prospect instead of Neil and hope Edler waives his NTC. With Edler being more mobile than Methot, it would make the top pair with EK even scarier. Lukewarm on the Yak deal though. Lazar has more value than him

Zbaddest, you're such a tease. Here I was expected a couple of really uplifting trades to match your title of your post. Then seeing those trades, not saying they aren't fair, but the improvement on the teams would be minimal.
Ottawa to win the Cup, (and a lot of teams) need more than minimal improvements. Sorry

LMFAO Right adding Edler and Yakupov will send the Sens cup bound doubt that. And any ways the odds that Edler waives for Ottawa are pretty slim.
