This is actually.....an overpay. If I were OTT, I would rather Stützle, Drysdale, and Brannsteom than Laf. You would get more games played and po8nts if you have those three

What if OTT keeps 5th OA and instead adds the Islanders 1st rounder (22-31OA??)

The sens would not commit that much for Laf. I think more reasonable is 5 OA + the Islanders pick + a prospect like Brannstrom. If this doesnt do it they could possibly add a 2020 2nd

Im not saying that it is a good Trade, but I definitely am not basing that decision on whether or not Melnyk said so...

That's a huge overpay! However, it probably takes that to convince New York to give up Alexis Lafreniere
