Absolutely no way the Caps take that. They don’t need Andersen, and even if they did he’s not worth a 1st.

The irony of re-signing Clifford. Tor wouldn't have a 2021 2nd to use as compensation for Murray.

And, as always, the Andersen trade is ridiculous....

1st for Andersen

Capitals counter with 1st for Andersen, 1st, 1st

The first 1st from Toronto gets added with Andersen when the Caps move him as a cap dump to someone that doesnt plan to make the playoffs.
The second 1st is the upgrade from the Caps 1st as payment for the Caps finding someone actually willing to take Andersen instead of the Leafs doing the leg work.
