Rangers probably do that if you drop Holl and add a pick

I’m not against moving nurse but leafs don’t have the right parts for that type of deal.

I'm not sure the Rangers do that as while the 3 of them are close to fair value for Georgiev, the Rangers probably rather hold on to Georgiev since we don't really need a winger or two stop-gap defensemen.

dermott isn't a stop-gap, hes 23 and will be part of our future should this happen

Im not all that big on Nurse. His underlying numbers arnt very good on the defensive end and by not very good I mean worse than every Leafs defenseman ... even Ceci. Trading for a guy like that, whos a LD not a RD, is just asking for it to be Barrie v2.0.

With the prospects coming up on the left side of the blueline he would, in essence, be a stopgap considering he is a 2nd/3rd pairing defender. I don't see how he isn't unseated by 3 of Lindgren, Jones, Miller, Robertson, Reunanen or anyone other defensemen we pick up. He does have a long career in the NHL ahead of him and he is a good defensemen, but I don't see him sticking around long-term for the Rangers if this move did happen.
