Take what you gave up for Kapanen, then add another good piece and thats what Domi would cost for Pit. Not this.

Domi would cost even more.
He's a LOT better than Kapanen and is one of the best passers in the league

Oof. That defense without Dumoulin.

Gustafsson is also a hilarious replacement. No thanks.

We had a d pairing of Johnson - Gudbranson vs the Islanders.

Bring on the pain

It was Johnson Schultz against the islanders. Pettersson-Gudbranson on a third pairing that faired much better.

I still cannot believe we had both of those D-men at one point

Again, Ottawa isn't interested in Murray. This is said one hundred times a day but Pittsburgh fans can't/don't read.

The Sens are content as they are now with goaltending. They happily move forward with Nilsson and Hogberg, and intend on giving Daccord and Gustavsson their chances at NHL games since all four would be available in the expansion draft and they need to decide where to use that protection slot. They don't plan on using draft capital for goaltending right now, especially one as inconsistent as Murray. There are other options that are more attractive to them. Acquiring Murray gives them 3 NHL goalies while also wanting to give some NHL minutes to 2 more, so they're now supposed to cycle through 5 guys? No. Not happening. Try elsewhere.

Not getting Domi for that package. Take what you gave the Leafs, add a few more depth pieces, then the trade goes through. Thanks for the 15th overall pick though
