LAK doesn't give a 2nd for him. Coyotes will want more than a cheaper goalie for him. Rees should not be traded, he is supposed to be very good

As much as I like Hintz, and don't want to see him go, I think DAL accepts. Get an extra pick and a young prospect that could be a future 2nd or 3rd liner.

Rees' upside is better than Hintz, that's a horrible trade for Carolina. Giving up their best prospect for someone who's gonna have to be sold below market value?

Gonna have to be sold below market value? Why do people think Dallas is in cap trouble? Lol. Guri and Hintz had good years but Nill has been good about getting guys to bridge. Then Pavs and Rads come off the books before their next deals

Cogliano, Comeau, Oleksiak, Johns come off. I doubt we keep both of Faksa and Dickinson with Dellandrea coming. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Rads or Bishop moved. Even without all that why would we trade Hintz now? He should have a stronger year next year as well and increase his value. Even then I don’t see where the have to sell below market value argument works. There will be plenty of teams with interest

Interest will be there because Dallas are GOING TO HAVE TO move someone. If it's not Hintz, fine, you won't tget the value for Cogliano, or Bishop, or Radulov because everyone knows of Dallas' cap issues.

Cogs expires on time for Miro. I’m okay with selling low on Rads or Bish, but I don’t see that happening if we sell on Hintz. I’d be okay with Rees and a second, but feel like he can improve his value this coming year
