Plus. Dellandrea had 28 points. Faksa had 20. Dellandrea had more ice time and only 30 less blocks and 15 more penalty minutes. At 7 years younger and 2.5 mil cheaper. Sounds like a doable replacement.

Why would he get bought out by the stars? They need a rhd. Dude had 42 points last season. Can get him for cheap because of buyout by flyers.

Brett Pesce is available
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GreatWhiteNorth</b></div><div>Why? Because an idea was reported that you didn’t like about your favourite teams player? That doesn’t seem fair.
Not saying Pesce is available or not, but if he is it makes sense. He’s a pending UFA that knows he can get paid well on the open market being one of the top right handed defenceman available. He just changed agents which usually suggests he’s looking for a substantial payday or a change in teams - that’s usually what happens when players change agents/agencies. If Carolina felt like his asking price was too much, why wouldn’t they trade him now while his value is high, especially with a full season for a team to have him and with this years draft being deep? - sure starts to make a little bit of sense that he might be available. The game is a business first, all players can be made available at any time.</div></div>
I think it’s more because you don’t know the stars. Marchment just signed with Dallas bc he felt comfortable with the coaching staff after his dad passing. And no way in hell are the stars giving up stankoven. A 40 goals scorer on a rookie deal. Not a chance.

I’d be really upset if somebody took Benn’s salary off our hands and we turned around and used it to assemble a team that has all the same problems the current team has. Damiani has been ready Bowness just doesn’t know how to use skill players in the bottom six. Peterson isn’t a top six forward. He’s seen top six time cuz again, Bones doesn’t know how to use him in the bottom six</div></div>
Carolina might not. They have bear, d’Angelo, niederreiter, trocheck, and domi to resign.
The players aren’t the problem. The coach is. So move damiani to the 2nd line.
And you never know on the trades. Crazier things have happened. Heard a rumor kings were about to give up Clark for klingberg at the deadline. So why not try again.

Baring overpayment, dumba will be traded elsewhere.
Also, there's a 98 percent chance, wild or any other teams are going to trade a good young important, & improving players like Dumba for a player like faksa who was playing with much better players on better lines but only scored 6 goals,&; only 8 assists in more games played than 3rd/ 4th line player like Nico Sturm who scored 10 goals, & was +10 in less games. Faksa was -13
You put the value together. It's totally biased for dallas. Wild counters with asking for Jason D</div></div>
Good thing actual GM's don't care about "hated division rivals", especially if they know it won't come back to haunt them, like this trade wouldn't. I just know Wild are trying to get rid of him and that contract. And they need a center. Would you want to add dickinson to what is already there, or sub him for faksa?

If it was guaranteed that we'd resign both Klinger and Jones, I'd give up Lindell. Because you still have miro and harley. Solid top 4. But that's the issue. No guarantee.

Dougie Hamilton would be nice, but he's staying in Carolina and no reason to offer that kind of contract when the Stars need forwards, not defense. Harley is coming up plus we have Heiskanen, Klingberg and Sekera for another year. Likely Oleksiak returns. Rinne and Schenider? You're kidding right? Bishop is the starter he cannot be moved given his M-NTC and his cap hit. Oettinger is the future. Not sure why you sign two aging veterans.</div></div>
If you read the first part, you might see that Bishop never recovers from the injury and retires. Leaving a void at back up goalie. Oettinger starts and you have a vet as back up.

I'm just trying to replace what we had with Perry. Some experience and grit. I love Dickinson. But I think he needs a bigger role, and he's not getting that here. Dellandrea hasn't really proven himself yet, and this season he had the opportunities. Ryan has had similar numbers this season to Perry when he was here. Plus, this give us 3 pretty good lines that you can move people around up and down and still be good.

True. This is all as if there is an AHL season and they are able to play and develop. Even if they expand rosters like they did at the bubble, I don't think they play on a regular basis, which they'll need to develop.

Our farm system sucks because we traded everyone away for Seguin, Spezza, and other top players. Then we had no prospects. He's done okay in drafting. Val was good, under a good coach. We're just now starting to see the benefits in Hintz, Guri, Miro and others. We just emptied all our prospects for trades. And the trades aren't working out.

But it’s very obvious that Nill is a yes man, so eventually the blame has to fall on him. I don’t see TG hiring anybody that isn’t a yes man so even if Nill is fired, the next guy will be just as ineffective
“His free agent signings haven’t really panned out, but it’s not like he would have known that” LMAO. I’m not a brilliant hockey mind at all but I saw Pavelski not being effective with this team a mile away. Nill needed a big name signing to save his job as designated yes man. That’s all that was</div></div>
I’m talking about who knew Alexa would fall off the edge, Hanzal would get hurt and never really play. I think it’s a new coach. Give him that chance and see what happens. If a new coach fails, then I’m fine with a new GM. Our farm system isn’t very good. So we better win within the next couple of years. Get a coach that’s a win now, as well as develops, guy. If we don’t win in a couple of years, get a development coach, trade off guys and rebuild. But I’d give him a chance at a new coach.

Nill doesn't do anything? He traded for Seguin, Spezza, Sharp, Johns, Janmark, Bishop, Zuc. His FA signing havn't really panned out, but its not like he would have known that. He's signing players most teams were going after. Not his fault players aren't producing, nor the coaching sucks. He tried to hire Gallant instead of Hithcock, but owner said no.
