I made it 4 inches lower to the point where the Kings retain $38.5 mil total on Doughty in year two of his contract...

No chance in this world would Carolina send 13th overall for one year of Andersen. Bean and a second, is much more likely.

Asking anyone to retain 5.5M for 7 years is going to cost you a fortune. Kings easily pass.

Canes pass too. A top 15 pick and a decent defensive prospect is an insane price for a rental goalie.

I cant decide what's funnier here, ripping off carolina, signing Ron Hainsey or giving up 2 firsts for a guy who defends worse than Justin Holl

yeah, 7 years at 5.5 million for a guy who is falling off a cliff is a terrible deal for the leafs
