How much $$$ does Virtanen project? I like him on the third line; big, physical winger with some scoring touch. Wouldn't mind him at all.

Hard no from MTL

I think it's a no, but not necessarily a hard one. Pearson had a good year, and if he were a RW and there were some more assets heading our way I would consider it.

Pearson had a good year but he has been playing with better players than Max Domi and both have the same amount of points. He is also older and most people tend to forget that he was traded for Gudbranson just last year

Yeah, I don't see Domi going for a 40pts player a a third round pick.. That's too low man. Van would need to add some better assets, like a D man or someone that can actually give play to the lines. Pearson doesn't come close to that. Been around for year without a break-out season..

Plus I don't think Domi would be a good fit for VAN. They need something else. Problem is that they traded their first two round picks so they're a bit stuck for this and next year..

The Stecher-Anderson deal has potential. Anderson in Vancouver wild make for a great platoon. I just wonder if the Leafs could afford Stetcher’s contract.

Fair point about Pearson and Domi's point production.

The fact that Pearson was traded for Gudbranson only means that the Canucks won that trade. Filip Forsberg was once traded for Martin Erat, but that does not make Forsberg any less of a player, and the same applies here.

Vancouver is not overpaying for Domi. I'd rather Eriksson over Domi.

Between 2.5 and 3 M on a 2 year deal.

We have no want for Anderson in Vancouver. Stecher will cost 3.35x 3/4 IMO. If you want him, we will do it for picks.

Freddy in Vancouver COULD make sense if they don’t want to lean on Demko. I have no idea how VAN management feels about that scenario. But if the Leafs are looking at Stetcher, they need to send some salary back. Just thought this trade has merit on a certain level.

I'd rather spend 5M on Greiss than waste assets on one year of a goalie. Anderson costs more than this in reality anyways
