Aint going to go down well

Created by: Davo
Team: 2020-21 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 7, 2020
Published: Sep. 8, 2020
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Everyone wants Tom Wilson. I think this is the next Tom wilson so lets get it done. Disclaimer Leafs fans gonna say overpaying Sens not enough. I would overpay for him. Oh and Bracco top line so completely realistic off season
oh and those that say Nylander is only going for a top 4 D I call it. if you get a hard Top 6 forward I think its more important to us right now. Imagine looking to get hit rather than looking for matthews. Massive advantage

Ottawa says no imo, even if you switch it for Marner I’d still say no. Tkachuk plays a style that will undoubtedly lead to winning playoff hockey games

Lol boys Nylander is just as good. The only difference is Tkachuk has a rougher play. The extra here accounts for that.

If Tkachuk played with Matthews he’d get 60-70 easily plus still impact for than just pts

Tkachuk could easily be the next Jamie Benn once he gets two highly skilled linemates, it’s super easy to see him getting 30+ goals, 70+ points, and 300+ hits per year for the next decade. Plus he’s likely our future captain and plays playoff style hockey which will be helpful in the not so distant future when we’re competing again. We’re more than happy with Tkachuk, we’re literally not trading him for anything

Ok I respect that. Currently you can’t agrue he’s better than Nylander. But with Byfield/Stutzle, he should get a lot better.
