Waddell said he is keeping Carolina's D together as much as possible. I'm confident he'll trade picks for Andersen or just not do it

I agree, but the fact that Waddell said “as much as possible” is shakey talk from an already shakey role.

Didn't the Blues win the cup with a "career minor leaguer" in net last year??

If it means labeling all u25 goalies who are already established NHL goalies as "career backups" and stapling them to the bench, why not? Lmao.

he is talking about "as possible" about the free agents that will leave. If you ask about the under citnract players he says no chance

Like the billionth Holl to Detroit proposal I've seen.....The Wings don't want him or need him, their RHD is set next season and foreseeable future with Hronek, Seider, Lindstrom

That’s the thing... you’re wrong. Matthews... marner... nylander... Rielly even Tavares with his NMC and C on his sweater. There’s always a right price.

Do you know what every gm says before they trade a player? We’re not trading him lol.

Don’t believe what players or GM’s say to the media.

obviously nothing is certain but Waddell has been a pretty sensible GM since he started with Carolina and I think he realizes that Defense is more important than goaltending. Just look at Toronto, every leaf fan talks about how great Andersen is but he was a 31st in sv% and 34th in GAA

He had a down season for sure, but I believe he was still 26 and 28.

I don’t see a trade like this happening either but they are getting a solid 2 way prospect back.

Yeah if their is a trade for hamilton or pesce its gonna be big. I heard from an unreliable source that waddell talked to the jets and when asked about pesce he said it would have to be 1 for 1 pesce for laine
