you're probably right. Nearly 10 mil in buyouts isn't going to happen either but i don't know what other teams will offer more...

Without retention it's 2 years for the 4th highest paid goalie in the league...i dont think there are going to be a long laundry list of ECONF teams lined up. Divisional trades still happen, especially if it gets you out of cap hell it's not completely off the table..

Its going to take a lot more than a late round pick with a flat cap. I think Vegas is stuck with him unless theyre willing to move a 1st and retain.

Gaudreau is good and all, but we don't have a need for him. There is no reason to give our best trade asset for him.
