Dubois might sign for that AAV at 3 years, but at 6 it's gonna be significantly higher. You wouldn't have the cap space to keep him at that term

I don't abjectly reject the Montreal trade, but I don't think Josh Anderson is worth the 78th pick in the draft. If I'm Montreal, I'd rather give up the 98th pick (Anaheim's 4th) plus something late -- maybe a 5th this year or next.

Jenner is not a 2nd line center! He belongs on the 4th line. He was awful vs Tampa and pretty irrelevant vs Toronto.

You might as well keep Anderson if that’s the best we can get for him. It’s also time to let Wennberg go, he’s overpaid for what he does.

cap isn't going up over the next couple of years..it might even go down, so the 6M$ in relation to the salary cap will be the same/more in 6 years.
