I think its worth taking a run and overpaying a bit for a 2x stanley cup champion that you can keep and afford longer than Freddie. Pit needs a 3rd line center, I think kerfoot would be a good fit there. Even if its only one second, I'd like the Murray acqusition.

I wouldn’t pay for what a player did years ago unless the deal came with a time machine. It was the great pens teams that won cups. Not a line wolf Matt Murray show.
